behavior change

While riding this wild tiger called “the mind,” we can get stuck.
— Steven C. Hayes, Founder of ACT

Changing what we do - our habits and behaviors - is never an easy process, even when we know what we SHOULD be doing differently.

This is because there is a reason we are where we are at - there is a good reason we are stuck.

By gently exploring and working with this, we can stop engaging in something that no longer works for us or start something new.

My approach to habit and behavioral change goes to the core of the pattern so change can be deep and sustainable - even if it also isn’t a ‘quick fix’.

This can work for patterns in relationships or at work as well as habits like perfectionism, not being assertive enough or eating habits like binge eating. We can also explore situations you notice repeating in your life, like being attracted to unavailable partners or ending up in burnout situations at work.

Sessions can help with:

  • Relationship difficulties such as divorce, separation, infidelity, difficulties in finding love

  • Burnout / difficulties at work

  • Decision making

  • Habit change / dealing with self-sabotage or being stuck in various areas of life

  • Perfectionism, procrastination or paralysis

  • Increasing assertiveness / confidence / healthy boundaries
